Swargas (Сваргас) is a historical and ethnographic open-air museum, recreated in full size, as a fortress of the Baltic Slavs - the Wends of the early medieval period of the 8th - 12th centuries, during the birth of Russian statehood. "Swargas" is an Indo-European word translated as "Sunny sky." ( Location: latitude / longitude: 60 * 49'40.74 '' C / 28 * 50'13.69
New challenges, new beginnings. At the opening of our educational hub, Pottery Center Bahor as a member of EXARC and the holder of the Heritera brand will prepare an archaeological/pottery time travel. The grand opening will be accompanied by Max Zimani on clay instruments and African drums.

I'm an archaeologist and a postgraduate student at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano specializing in Early Medieval Archaeology and Landscape Archaeology; I'm particularly interested in longobard material culture and I have a long experience in archaeological excavations.
