Textiles were dyed several thousand years ago. In this practical course, the participants learn which plants are suitable for dyeing, which shades they produce and how they can be used to dye wool.
At the end of the course, hold a naturally colored piece of silk (cloth or scarf) and a 100g skein of wool in your hands. Registration directly via Info@mittelalterkraeuter.de
Courses take place on October 3 AND 31 from 11:00-17:30, and cost € 85 plus entry per person.
The daily course takes place outdoors. Please bring a snack for the break. Children under the age of 14 can only participate if accompanied by an adult, as dyeing takes place around an open fire. Please bring rubber gloves and an apron (or clothes that can be stained).
