PhD in medieval archaeology since 2011. 18 years experience in various archaeological fieldwork: necropolises, churches. My present project is to create an archaeopark in the ASTRA Open-Air Museum from Sibiu, Romania.
The first conference (ICA I) resulted in the foundations for a methodology, allowing experimental archeology to be a scientific research tool in its own right. Following these reflections, we hope that the participants, in their presentations and experiments, will also define and highlight the methodology they practice.
Due to the uncertain circumstances and evolving travel and gathering restrictions as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic the conference will be held only online.

Attendance awards
The archaeological open-air museum “Thracian and Ancient town Kabyle” will be host of the International historical festival for the eigth year. This year the festival coincides with the day for Welcoming the Sun – the 21st of June.

Experience a day in the life of the inhabitants of an early medieval village. You will see how the lives of children and adults differed from our lives today. You will see how the people slept, what they ate and how they cooked, you will examine the crops in the fields and gardens and even see farm animals.
A meeting with one's own past
Free to attend. Fire always leaves its mark and a wealth of information behind. This conference aims to explore these events by bringing together ideas from across archaeological and anthropological sub-disciplines. Registration now extended until 31 March 2019.
