It is believed that people have been using wild herbs as useful or medicinal plants since prehistory. Many plants can look back on a long cultural history. During the "Herbs in Ancient Times" experience weekend, visitors to MAMUZ receive a herb tour through the archaeological outdoor area. There are plants to be discovered that have been used by humans for medicinal purposes for thousands of years. You can also find some wild herbs that you can eat. The certified herb educator Anni Sailer imparts practical herbal knowledge and gives tips on which local herbs you can use to season your own kitchen.
