Celebrate the return of summer at the ancient festival of Beltane/Calan Mai. Make a willow crown, and craft a wish stick to cast into the flames. Gather by the fireside to be entertained by tales of old before joining the ceremony around the bonfire (weather permitting) to banish away the winter.

The goal of SIAH is to study and promote historical bows, their characteristics, and the appropriate techniques for their correct use in the Iberian Peninsula.
Additionally, our focus extends to the cultural aspects of these historical periods and backgrounds associated with each type of bow.
We believe it is crucial to bring visibility to historical archery. Hence, we decided to establish an association dedicated to the rigorous study of this practice—a space that consolidates knowledge for anyone seeking to initiate or delve deeper into historical archery.
Craft course weekend including: Deer butchery and cooking, Medieval Illuminations and Calligraphy, Viking Cookery Course, Viking Tablet Weaving.
Courses include: Lost wax casting, prehistoric coiled basketry, deer butchery and cooking, Viking tablet weaving, Cook like a Viking, Medieval calligraphy and illuminations and Beginners woodcarving.
A packed event full of reenactors, living history demonstrations and live events in our Earthouse. Plenty for all adults and children to have a go at and get involved in. Tickets to all events £10 per adult. £5 for children. Under 4's free. No dogs allowed on site due to livestock. Tickets available on the gate. Why not bring a picnic? Scrummy tea and cake available.
