The Museu de Prehistòria preserves much of the material legacy of the towns that occupied the Valencian territory. The recovery of this important heritage has been possible thanks to the excavations that the Prehistoric Research Service (SIP) has carried out for more than 80 years.
Its collections allow a trip through Prehistory, from the Paleolithic to the Iberian Culture and the Roman World. In addition, it also offers an interesting tour of the evolution and function of money in the room dedicated to the History of money.
The museum also extends its activities to some archaeological sites and is launching the Ruta dels Ibers a Valencia.
