Third Time Lucky!

As most of you will already know, the HMS Council had no option but to vote to postpone this conference in both 2020 and 2021. ‘Accidental and Experimental Archaeometallurgy’ together with the 2022 AMG will now be held on Friday 10 th June to Sunday 12 th June 2022. We have been able to secured the same glorious venue (https://ancienttechnologycentre.com/)
and plan to run (almost) the same programme.

• Two and a half days of construction and metallurgical experiment and demonstration.
• A range of oral presentations: both academic and craft
• Accommodation in a Viking longhouse
• Breakfasts/lunches included.
• Saturday night hog roast (vegetarian/vegan option) on-site.
• Sunday Open Day
• All papers and experiment write-ups to be included in a published volume to celebrate the event.
