International Archery Tournament with Traditional Bow

EAD22 - Second International Medieval Festival 'New Beginning'

Workshop: Bayeux Stitch Embroidery

The Bayeux Tapestry is considered to be one of the most famous handicraft pieces of the Middle Ages. On its 68 meters, the embroidery depicts the conquest of England from a contemporary perspective.

Bones, legs, horns, antlers and teeth - it's wonderful what you can use from animals. When there was no plastic, for example, combs and buttons were made from antlers and were accordingly expensive.
Horn is elastic and becomes soft when heated - not only bow ends are made from it, but all kinds of everyday devices.
