The Battle of Grolle is a three-day event where visitors go back in time to the year 1627. In the summer of that year, the State army led by Prince Frederik Hendrik arrives for 'the starcke city of Groll'. It is an event that briefly, but very emphatically, places the city at the center of national history. That is why this event is redesigned every two years.

The fashion for temple rings probably came to Central Europe from southeastern Europe during the migration period. Various forms of rings, which were worn in the hair or on headgear, were among the indispensable fashion accessories of the Alemanni or Frankish women of the world

Evidence of belief and cult can be traced back to the earliest beginnings of human history. The worlds of thought and mostly complex cult practices of our ancestors have a great appeal to us, but they are difficult to understand or even reconstruct.
