Flint knapping the whole day, discussions, exchanging of experiences, experiments ... Jim Miller, USA, will demonstrate his experiments with heat treating of flint. Open for public from 11.00 – 14.00.

At 18.00 Ph.D. Arne Sjöström holds a lecture on “Mesolithic wetland and submarine finds in Scania”
Monday 14th of July
We arrange a full-day excursion and guide you around some of the more interesting stone age features of Scania. 9.30 Departure from VikingaTider Gillhög, the greatest Megalithic passage grave in Scania

You are Welcome to stay in our Viking longhouse or set up a modern tent. If you find this too primitive there are good accomodations nearby.

Meals
We serve a simple breakfast Saturday- Monday mornings and rustic, homemade evening meals Friday – Sunday.
Equipment and materials
We supply the flint you need and you bring your own tools .
Price 1000 SEK (150 USD, 115 Euro) Includes 3 breakfasts, 3 evening meals, lecture, flint and guided bus tour.
The bus tour with lunch and guide costs 400 SEK and we need to be minimum 8 persons.
