Flour, water and hardworking hands ...

open for all

Today is bread baking day in Haithabu. The Viking woman has lit the hearth and invites all museum visitors to actively participate. With the basalt lava mill, the grain must first be ground into flour. Only then can the flatbread be shaped and baked. There is also curd cheese with freshly collected herbs. Mmh - just a pleasure with warm bread!

Particularly suitable for: adults, families, teenagers, children
