We sew leather bags for all sorts of odds and ends.

Simple leather bags were used in the Viking Age to store various "treasures". In the port of Haithabu, archaeologists have z. B. found a leather bag full of glass beads. Axel Gieger shows you how to make a small bag from a simple piece of leather in a few simple steps.

Meeting point: The Viking Museum Haithabu consists of an exhibition house and an outdoor area with reconstructed Viking houses. The parking lot is near the exhibition house. To get from the parking lot to the reconstructed houses, you should plan a 20-minute walk.
