Forging knives, boiling soap, designing leather bracelets or making paints: in the old days, many things were still made by hand. On the handicraft course on the area of ​​the Legionnaires' Path Vindonissa and Königsfelden Monastery, young and old can try out in ten workshops how utensils were made in antiquity and in the Middle Ages.

Good to know

  • Price: adults CHF 25.-, children (6-16 years) CHF 20.-; Children up to 6 years free of charge
  • The price includes admission to the Vindonissa Legionnaires' Trail and the Königsfelden Monastery , including all offers such as game and theme tours  as well as all materials used.
  • Tip: Visit the craft course on another day and benefit from a 50 percent reduction on the second day's entry (upon presentation of the receipt from the first visit). This offer is valid for a visit on a maximum of two days. Regular discounts are not valid for this event.

Depending on the number of visitors, waiting lists are kept at the workshops in order to avoid waiting times.
