The second part of the series "Travels in time" is dedicated to the inhabitants of the settlement from the turn of the Bronze and Iron Ages. During this trip you will learn how 2700 years ago a  fortified settlement on the Biskupińskie Lake peninsula was established, whose unique wooden archeology has survived to the present day. Her discovery was one of the most important archaeological sensations of the twentieth century also due to the dense buildings and proto-city layout of streets and houses. You will know what materials and tools were used for its construction and which construction techniques. You will see how its inhabitants lived, what their houses looked like and what they did. Bronze casting  deserves special attention - the first artificially obtained metal alloy that was of great importance for the economic and social development of the inhabitants of Europe and the lands of today's Poland. This is a difficult occupation, and yet the inhabitants of the settlement on the peninsula were able to make, among others beautiful pins, knives and arrowheads of bronze.
