I'm going to be doing a Facebook Livestream relating to the archaeological evidence for nalbinding in the historical Viking-Age. There have been many discussions over the years as to where people get their interpretations of nalbinding from for Historical Reenactment and Living History. One of the common responses to dismiss Nalbinding with Viking-Age portrayals is "there's not many examples".
Hopefully this presentation will give you an overview of the material that is out there. So you can go and visit it for yourselves if you wish in the assortment of collections. This public talk, I hope, will be illuminating and start a wider discussion on this heritage craft.
