Short days, long nights, cold and torpor of nature: winter. Even when the temperatures are frosty, the history park opens its doors this weekend, when you can look over the shoulder of our performers as they go about their daily activities. Especially in the Middle Ages, the population had to prepare very well for the cold season in order to have enough firewood and food. The days are short and much of life takes place around the warming fire. Handicrafts are made, cooked, talked, laughed and the community celebrated.
Public guided tour on Sunday at 2 p.m.
And to warm you up, our museum restaurant Brot&Zeit offers you mulled wine and other winter delicacies.
