The so called amber road, the commercial route through which amber was traded, was a main feature of the cultural life in the baltic sea civilizations.
The park aims to educate and entertain the visitors through reconstructions of typical features which formed the amber commerce in the roman times. In the reconstructed huts exhibitions of the amber workshop and the forge give an insight of the ancient techniques mastered by the ancestors. In other reconstructions permanent archaeological exhibitions and multimedia exhibitions bring the visitor close to the past with modern technologies. Living history and performance events are planned constantly and complete the offer to the visitors.
