The wooden arena was first designed at the beginning of the years 2000 and later founded by an Interreg programme by the EU.
Within the grounds of the arena, built in a medieval style, the visitor can have all sort of activities, starting with the most close to the medieval times (aided in this by the local living history group) to the most contemporary ones.
Bathing in a wooden bath during the winter is one of the most intriguing options among the many others that the structure provides.
Programmes for children and schools are also available both for single day trips both for more days. The structure in fact provides accomodation on site.
A great number of events take place in the structure, such as concerts and tournaments, and private organizations can also book for planning their own event.
