The “re-invented” Middle Stone Age camp is situated idyllically at the the Lake Aue, directly next to the Bachmann-Museum Bremervörde.

Since 2004 the museum uses this place to offer programs for school excursions and childrens birthday parties in order to convey the life of Mesolithic hunters and gatherers. The topics “Nutrition and Cooking” as well as “Tools and Hunting weapons” are the focus of the two programs, including a guided tour through the exhibition with it’s manifold objects to the Stone Age periods.
