PREHISTORIC – The Neolithic Village comes to life
The Neolithic Village comes back to life … let yourself be transported back 6,000 years and immerse yourself in Prehistory with living history, educational workshops, experimental archeology demonstrations and guided tours !
The theme of the 2023 edition is ANCIENT FOOD: throughout the day it will in fact be possible to attend numerous demonstrations related to food and conviviality among our ancestors, such as lighting the fire, cooking in the pit, preparing cheese and the sound of musical instruments from the past.
PROGRAM
10.00 am: opening of the event; demonstration of lighting the fire and starting the pit ovens for cooking food
10.15 am: guided tour with living history
11.00: demonstration "From milk to cheese"; archery tests; Weaving and Ceramics workshops
11.30 am: guided tour with living history
12.00: archery tests; Weaving and Ceramics workshops
12.30-13.00: free visit to the village with living history
13.00-14.00: lunch break; possibility to have lunch on site with sandwiches and drinks
1.30 pm: opening of the pit ovens
2.30 pm: demonstration "The sounds and musical instruments of Prehistory"
3.00 pm: guided tour with living history; archery tests; Prehistoric Art laboratories, Simulated Excavation
16.00: demonstration "The chipping of the stone"
4.30 pm: guided tour with living history; archery tests; egg cooking workshop in clay
5.30 pm: fire lighting demonstration
18.00: closing of the event
Throughout the day, the village will be animated by Neolithic daily life activities thanks to the presence of archaeotechnicians from all over northern Italy.
COSTS
Whole: €10; reduced (from 6 to 13 years) € 7; admission + 1 laboratory € 10; additional workshops €5 each; family ticket 2 adults + 1 child € 25, family ticket 2 adults + 2 children € 30 (family tickets include 1 workshop for each child)
