On the last Sunday in May, families in the Celtic village of Mitterkirchen are offered a special program: young and old visitors can try out pristine handcraft techniques of textile production on this afternoon (1:00 pm to 5:00 pm) free of charge. In addition to tablet weaving, we offer the production of yarn with spinning whorls. One may even work with with the large loom, which is made on the model of archaeological finds. For a small fee you can also try non-textile crafting techniques and archery.
