Experience the Iron Age first-hand through an interactive talk and primitive skills workshops! Designed for teachers and Iron Age enthusiasts, this INSET day will help to support your KS2 topic, "Britain from the Stone to the Iron Age" and will give you a unique opportunity to learn and teach more about our past through hands-on experiences!
The Iron Age programme includes: Interactive talks on Iron Age Britain with artefact handling by Archaeologist Keith Fitzpatrick Matthews, Primitive Skills Workshops with Iron Age farming such as grinding grain on quern stones and making medicine with herbs and plants by Celtic Harmony Heritage Director, Luca Parrella, with resources and activity ideas for the classroom.
Book your Place and Bring a Friend or Colleague with you for free!
Once you book a place on any of our INSET courses, all you need to do is purchase one ticket by following the link and then email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject, “Bring a Friend” and the name of your friend or colleague to confirm attendance. We will then look forward to seeing you both at the camp!
