Duel with sword and shield
The Bärnau-Tachov History Park forms the backdrop for a special kind of martial arts seminar. Roland Warzecha from the Hamburg fencing school "Dimicator" teaches participants how to use swords and shields based on historical sources, martial arts principles and research into historical weapons. The training offer is aimed at historical actors who want to gain insight into historical martial arts apart from modern exhibition combat and reenactment battles. Training takes place on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in historical costume. You have to bring your own training weapons, shields and reconstructed clothing. Spectators are very welcome on both days.
