On June 22, we invite you to the Open-Air Museum at Trzinica. On this day, we will celebrate Polish Sobótka (Kupala Night, Bonfire, St. John's Night). Kupala Night is an ancient event that can be traced to the tradition of paganism. A similar event takes place in Russia, in the Ukraine, Poland and other Slavic countries during the shortest night of the year around 23-24 June. The ceremony refers to the summer solstice, when the night is the shortest. We plan to sing and dance around the bonfire, jumps over the flames of bonfire, woven a flower wreaths and float/put them on the water.
