Terramara di Montale Archaeological Park and Open-Air Museum.
The excavations in the Montale hill have brought to light the remains of a terramara which can be visited in an equipped museum space. Terramare are villages built in Emilia and in the central area of the Po Valley around the middle of the second millennium BC. In the open-air museum, a part of the village was rebuilt with a moat, an embankment and two houses furnished with pottery, utensils, weapons and clothes that faithfully reproduce the originals of 3500 years ago.
