I am a post-doctoral researcher managing project CUMAN - "Current understanding of medieval artefacts of late nomads" at Institute of Archaeology of Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. For the last 15 years I do historical reconstructions of nomads, mainly the Cuman-Kipchak, mixing the archaeology and the reenactment. Most of my equipment, clothing and accesories is done by me, whilst trying to study and recreate the historical processes by own experience. I also run a popularization YouTube channel "Tolun Bey", which content is again focused on history and archaeology of Cumans. Most recently, due to my participation on a project focused on the popularization by a virtual and augmented reality I started long path of creating models of artefacts by myself.
