I'm a PhD student from Ukraine and a member of the living history club "Zastava (Stronghold)". I working on my dissertation about medieval log-boats from the southwestern lands of Kievan Rus' in the 10th-13th centuries. For this research, I perform some experiments which are based on archeological sources and ethnography, such as hollowed-out boats making, different technics of the log reversing, boat boards steaming. Also, I've tried to work with rawhide and stones. I'm ready to share my knowledge with everyone.
