International festival “Medieval Tarnovgrad” is hold for a fourth consecutive year and has the task to make a bridge in the time by historical reconstruction of the household, cuisine, crafts, music, dances and warrior skills of Bulgaria, Byzantium and Europe during the period of the Asenevtsi Dynasty - 12-14 century.

The fortress „Tuida“ is situated in the Hisarlaka area, in the northeast part of the town Sliven, close to a neighbourhood called Novo Selo. Its location uncovers a wonderful view to the south – toward the town, and to the north - toward the Nature Park „Sinite kamani“. The fortress covers an area of 40.000 square metres; its construction equipment is built in the tradition of ancient military construction.

This Roman Era archaeological site is an open-air museum with part for experimental archaeology. It is a villa, which was one of the largest ceramic production centres in the province of Lower Moesia on the Balkans.

It is called the Ancient Ceramic Centre near Pavlikeni - a town in Northern Bulgaria. The site was made an open-air museum in the 70-es of 20th century by its first excavator - Bogdan Sultov. There you can see in situ exposed Roman kilns and buildings. An archaeological campus made of shards of Roman bricks, tiles, slag, is the only one of this kind. There is also a part for experimental archaeology with a reconstruction of potter's workshop and kilns. A museum building at the same site shows artefacts, found during the excavations.

My name is Vladimir Popov, founder of the Association for Antique Reconstructions "Mos Maiorum Ulpiae Serdicae". I am the one of pioneers of Roman re-enactment in Bulgaria - in 2007 I was the first, who had started reconstruction of Roman legionary from period of Trajan's Dacian Wars.
