Ancient painting techniques are my field of interest - everything from scribbling on things and walls to high art. I started the exploration in 2009 with humble tempera experiments, probed into encaustic techniques in 2014, painted a ship with pliny-style wax paint in 2018. I share my research in (living history) presentations and workshops. New findings in encaustic and tempera research will result in a major overhaul in 2023 - 2024.
