Hi! My name is Cristina and I study archaeology at the Al. I. Cuza University of Iași, Romania. My main interest is experimental archaeology, more exactly everything related to the chaîne opératoire of prehistoric pottery – raw materials, forming, painting, firing and derivatives of these actions.
In this regard, I believe that, in order to be truthful to the meaning of the archaeological experiment itself, one must base on the archaeological discovery, have a working hypothesis and a lot of acumen. The finality of this action represents a rapprochement to the cultures of thousands of years ago, more precisely a deeper understanding of the material culture of an ancient community.
