In the preHistorisch Dorp, historic creeps hide themselves until the dark eve on Saturday 31 October. White wives, creepy witches, poisoners and plague doctors - you will encounter them all on your quest through the open-air museum.
About 50 years before Christ, the Romans conquered many countries, including part of the Netherlands. This takeover changed a lot in the area south of the Rhine: the Romans brought new tastes, built roads, built houses of stone and brought us writing.
During the weekend of 12 and 13 September, storytellers, puppet shows and farces can be seen and heard in the preHistorisch Dorp.
In the weekend of 22 and 23 August, the medieval group Allemansend will arrive: In the town of Gravendam, the crew of De Jonge Kraai pulls its ships onto dry land and sets up a medieval encampment.

Fierce warriors, cunning traders and artists from all over the world
Fierce warriors, handy traders and skilled artisans return to Erve Eme on October 17 and 18 when Medieval people will occupy the entire Erve Eme site. For two days you can immerse yourself in special medieval atmospheres. A true journey through time that the whole family will enjoy!
This weekend a small camp of the living history group the Hospitallers is visiting. They show you how they traveled around during the medieval crusades and with which armor they fought. They are also skilled craftspeople who are happy to tell you more about medieval crafts.
Join the many games in prehistory, Roman times and Middle Ages.
The International Bushcraft Event, will be held some time in 2022 in The Netherlands (Holland). This event will be quite unique in its kind since it will bring instructors from all over the world to the public at one and the same place. As the International Bushcraft Symposium focuses on professionals, the International Bushcraft Event will be focused on the general public.
