Flevoland occupies a special place in archaeology. As land reclaimed from the sea, this area is best known as a ship graveyard. But the soil also contains countless treasures from a much more distant past, such as from the prehistoric Swifterbant culture.

During the Archeology Days on 18 and 19 June, we will pay full attention to Flevoland's mineral resources and the importance of archaeology.
