How did people explain the world to their children 1000, 5000 or 10,000 years ago? Were earth and water separated, were there battles between monsters or did a cow lick someone out of the ice? In a tour we deal with myths and stories about beginnings and origins. There are sources from the Middle Ages, Iron and Bronze Ages that echo how people explain the world to themselves and to others. And before? We feel our way backwards through time, along the narrative spotlights of past stories. We listen to the cosmologies of groups that live differently than we do - and explain differently why it is the way it is.
