Since 1994 I am the director of the Pfahlbaumuseum Unteruhldingen. My special scientific interests are: archaeology of the lake dwellings, settlement-archaeology of the Neolithic and Bronze Age periods, the history of archaeological research in Germany, experimental Archaeology, museums-pedagogy, visitor oriented exhibition concepts and the development of European networks between living history museums.
