I am an archaeologist interested in the study of complex societies of the Western Mediterranean Iron Age. I deal with more specific topics such as urban planning, architecture, household organisation and domestic activities. In 2020 I started the project 'Transdisciplinary and experimental study of combustion structures in the western Mediterranean during Protohistory', with a methodological approach that integrates techniques coming from Bioarchaeology and Geoarchaeology, as well as Experimental Archaeology. Within this project, in 2021 and 2022, we have been conducting experimental works at the Ciutadella Ibèrica de Calafell (Spain) archaeological site, using replicas of archaeological hearths and ovens to better understand the functioning and uses of these structures.
