The Middle Ages are not the same as the Middle Ages. You can see this particularly clearly in the clothing. Today we want to introduce you to the various fashions of the early Middle Ages with tunics, calf wraps and temple rings, in the High Middle Ages with givers, leg warmers and surcots, or in the late Middle Ages with pourpoints and straps.

The International Reenactment Market IRM is the first international fair for living history, re-enactment, and experimental archaeology of all periods in Germany, and was launched in 2011 in the Archaeological Park Roman Villa Borg. The new location for 2022 is the Römerwelt museum at Rheinbrohl, located between Bonn and Koblenz.

The walk starts at 8:00 pm. and lasts until approx. 10:30 pm.

For the Romans, bathing was not just mere cleansing and health care. The extensive visit to a Roman bath served both relaxation and well-being. The restored bathing facility in front of the fort gate of the Saalburg and replicas of Roman bathing utensils make Roman bathing culture vivid.

For a week, demonstrations, demonstrations and courses on original handicraft techniques are held in our Stone Age village.
