I received my B.A. in Archaeology from Cornell University in 2015, and my M.A. in Historical Archaeology from the University in Massachusetts, Boston in 2020. My thesis, entitled "'We may have profitable commerce and trade together': An Analysis of 17th-Century Ceramics in Plymouth Colony," looked at colonial trade networks using ceramics from Burial Hill, the Allerton/Prence/Cushman Site, and the Alden First Home Site.
I am currently expanding my research into trade networks while pursuing my PhD in Anthropology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Along with Brigid Ogden and Taylor Bowden, I am also researching the history and production of condoms in North America. We have been working with the MAC Lab, building upon previous research by Sara Rivers Cofield, to study an 18th-century condom recovered from a well in Maryland, USA.
