Assistant professor at the University of Bologna (Italy) in Prehistory and Protohistory since 2000, I have devoted main interest in the reconstruction of Bronze Age life in several parts of the world (Italy, Arabian peninsula, Central Asia). Inside this general topic I started following experimental archaeology thanks to the work carried out in Montale investigation and recently to the activities carried out at the site of Solarolo (RA). In collaboration with Roberto Deriu, I organized a laboratory of experimental archaeology with research programs and demonstrations addressed to students of the University of Bologna. Main experimental applications are metal, pottery, cultivations, and earth structures.
