Hi There! I am a PhD student at Bournemouth University studying the impact of long-term engagement with experimental archaeology and ancient craft gestures on individual and community mental health, my research is entitled "Experimental Health: Craefting a Better Wellbeing". My pilot study, the Sanctuary has just celebrated its first anniversary and I hope to collaborate with future experimental archaeology projects interested in observing the wellbeing of their participants using my developing methods. The Sanctuary is a safe, inclusive place for students, staff and the local community and all participants have a shared ownership of the project, they are the true authors of our the story.
