The Norwegian Forum for Experimental Archaeology (NFEA) is a yearly seminar aimed at presenting and popularising experimental research within archaeology. It has been held since 2011 at the Veien Cultural Hertage Park, and as the name implies, it is a gathering of Norwegian archaeologists, held and presented in Norwegian.

There are many Christmas markets in Denmark, but one of the nicest is the All Times' Christmas Market at the Middelaldercentret in Nykøbing F, south of Copenhagen.
The medieval houses are decorated with spruce, hearts and light and in the booths you can buy everything the heart desires.

Unfortunately, no intact furnaces survive. Only the base plates for these potential furnaces and an additional scattering of sherds exist in the archaeological record. Thus, the shape of the body, lid, and chimneys must be inferred and then tested through experimental bead production.

In the Prayer Day Holidays, we focus on the beliefs and superstitions of the Middle Ages. There is sickness on the way, a vicious fever has reached other cities and we have heard about it in Luebeck, where our merchant ships often visit. The townspeople are nervous.

Last year we celebrated our 25th anniversary and it was a success, so we repeat ot in slightly smaller scale. We have invited the best re-enactment groups from Europe to come and populate Sundkøbing for a week. There will be a large jousting, fighting for power and honor and which also explains the jousting in the Middle Ages.
