Since 1994 I am the director of the Pfahlbaumuseum Unteruhldingen.

I'm an archaeologist and a postgraduate student at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano specializing in Early Medieval Archaeology and Landscape Archaeology; I'm particularly interested in longobard material culture and I have a long experience in archaeological excavations.

I first started with experimental archaeology over fifteen years ago when working with Dr. David Sim for one year on reconstructed weapons and armour.

I am archaeologist & carpenter and specialized on (pre)historic woodworking and housebuilding. Running a small company in Northeast-Germany I am actually involved in some projects e.g. @ Zeiteninsel and @ Museumsdorf Düppel.

I am involved in community archaeological excavation projects as well as experimental archaeology mostly based on the early medieval period. I also organise living history courses in Viking Age metalwork techniques.

PhD in medieval archaeology since 2011. 18 years experience in various archaeological fieldwork: necropolises, churches. My present project is to create an archaeopark in the ASTRA Open-Air Museum from Sibiu, Romania.

My work has always been about love for nature and the outdoors. I grew up on one of the oldest organic-dynamic horticulture companies in the Netherlands, Sloterland, and received love for nature from early start.

Giving lectures about Experimental Archaeology at the University of Hamburg since 2004, also in charge of the annual Experimental Archaeology Summer camp at the Stone Age Village of Albersdorf, Germany (AÖZA). Own Experiments on Neolithic Housing, ceramics, woodwork and textiles.
