I am a PhD Candidate in the Scandinavian Studies Department at University College London, England. My main project involves interdisciplinary archaeological research focusing on specifics of early medieval textiles and trade in Northern Europe. Part of this research involves technical recreations of textiles and other related artefacts. In addition, I teach about museums and cultural heritage studies, focusing on curation of collections.
I have been reenacting since 2018 focusing on Migration Period Norway, Viking Age Sweden and Anglo-Saxon England. I have spent much time tablet-weaving and practising other loom crafts.
