In the recently opened Stonehenge Visitor Centre, which provides permanent and temporary exhibition about one of the most striking World Heritage sites, five neolithic houses were (re)constructed.

The new Stonehenge Vistor Centre displays five neolithic houses, giving an overview of how life could have been at the time of the monument's building.

Set in Wales, Felin Uchaf is a centre for holistic education in which ancient technologies are taught and lived by volunteers and where local community has a centre for sharing cultural and spiritual experiences.

Howick House (UK)

After being discovered by amateur archaeologists, Howick site was intensively excavated and proved to be one of the most ancient permanent settlement of the island.

The mesolithic hut in Howick was reconstructed in situ and in another location to give visibility to this remarkable find of british prehistory.

Viking Unst (UK)

Numerous dwellings in Unst, one of the Shetlands, have proved a distinctive viking presence on the island. The Viking Unst project gave life to a longhouse and a viking ship.

The replica of a viking longhouse stands beside Skidbladner, replica of the Gokstad boat, to represent viking life in the Shetlands.

New Barn Field Centre (UK)

The New Barn Field Centre, in which the principles of model making are used, is an educational centre.

Within the grounds of the New Barn Field Centre, the (re)construction of an iron age roundhouse is used for educational programmes. But many other activities are available for the pupils.

Navan Center - Emain Macha (UK)

The important archaeological site, in Northern Ireland, which yielded traces of consistent occupation since prehistory, was threatened by the expansion of a nearby limestone quarry.

In the proximity of the archaeological site of Navan Fort, the Centre displays a reconstructed roundhouse and hosts facilities for edutainment.
