Peter Inker is the Director of Historical Research at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, home to the largest outdoor living history museum in the United States.

I am a leading specialist at the Laboratory of Experimental Archaeology at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, Research fellow at New York University in Abu Dhabi (UAE) and director of the Karmir-Blur branch of the Erebuni M

Since 1993 I work on the field of living history, mainly covering the Middle Ages. I hold lectures in schools, kindergartens & universities in medieval clothing and equipment. I explain the development of arms and armour.

My historical interpretation activities give people space and time to step outside their everyday lives and experience serious learning in a fun and informal atmosphere. I work professionally with Museums, Schools and with volunteer re-enactment groups.

I'm currently awaiting graduation after handing in my master's thesis about polychrome decorative patination techniques in the Eastern Mediterranean Bronze Age.

I gained my MA in Experimental Archaeology from the University of Exeter in 2003. Since then I have worked as a blacksmith (specifically a tool maker), specialising in archaeologically accurate reproductions.

Full-time archaeologist working in Malta with a masters degree in experimental archaeology that mainly focused on metallurgy, ceramics and theory. I frequently find myself reading about and trying out different traditional techniques.

Assistant professor at the University of Bologna (Italy) in Prehistory and Protohistory since 2000, I have devoted main interest in the reconstruction of Bronze Age life in several parts of the world (Italy, Arabian peninsula, Central Asia).
