I am a leading specialist at the Laboratory of Experimental Archaeology at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, Research fellow at New York University in Abu Dhabi (UAE) and director of the Karmir-Blur branch of the Erebuni Museum-Reserve (Yerevan, Armenia). The sphere of my scientific interests is the Bronze Age, experimental archaeology, ancient warfare, economy and technologies. For many years I have been leading research and popular science projects on the reconstruction of ancient weapons, transport, archaeometallurgy, and experimental studies of ancient economics.
