From ornate Victorian mansions to everyday inns, frontier forts to 20th-century leaders’ homes, there’s a state historic site to fit every interest.

I am an expert in warp-weighted weaving, having written one of a handful of books on the topic. I've been involved with textiles since 1975, and experimental archaeology and early weaving technologies since 2000.
My name is Gerald A. Livings and I am a Jewelry Educator.
I have done historic textile demonstrations since 2001. These range from pre-history through industrialization. I have worked in living history since 2015 doing a variety of historic skills including textiles, draft power, farming, and other historic handcrafts.
I am a retired woodworker. I am also a canoe traveler, a historical reenactor focused on Early Medieval Ireland, and amateur experimental archaeologist currently focused on logboats.
I am a retired veterinary pathologist with a long-standing interest in sustainable technology and historic agriculture. I have 30 years experience interpreting farming to the public (the picture is from the 1990s).
I enjoy ancient history and learning about technology that people used in their daily lives. I have had the privilege to take a class under Greg Nunn in flintknapping.
I am an independent artist working directly with the public, using the traditional trade of silhouettes. I interpret and demonstrate the role of portraiture, and society experiences with portraits, chiefly between 1700-1920 (Modern Era).
