PhD in medieval archaeology since 2011. 18 years experience in various archaeological fieldwork: necropolises, churches. My present project is to create an archaeopark in the ASTRA Open-Air Museum from Sibiu, Romania.
In 2002, I decided to actively pursue my historical interest and incorporate my skills in physics, electronics and engineering.
PhD Student in the field of public archaeology at the University of Lausanne. My thesis is titled: “Potentiel et limites de l’animation et de la reconstitution historiques dans la transmission des connaissances auprès des publics”.
The first time Lara got in contact with experimental archaeology was in 1995.

Since 1993 I work on the field of living history, mainly covering the Middle Ages. I hold lectures in schools, kindergartens & universities in medieval clothing and equipment. I explain the development of arms and armour.
Since 1995 I am interested in archaeological open-air museums, living history and hands-on activities in order to get people excited to learn about and experience prehistoric times.
