Hello! My interest in archaeological reseaerch has always been directed towards the study of the eating behaviours of past communities and aims to better understand their social and cultural dynamics.

I've started my activity in 2007, as a historical reenactor. After taking my bachelor's degree in natural sciences at Cagliari University, I went to England for a couple of years, I've then taken my Master's degree in Archaeology at the University of Ferrara.
I am a professional archaeologist working in the private sector in Ireland. I have been presenting Viking Age living history and material culture since late 1990. More recently I have been presenting Hiberno-Norse material culture with museum-quality replica artifacts from 10th-century Ireland.

I started dealing with archaeology in the 90s, during my university studies at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts and the Institute of Archaeology of the State University, both in Milan, Italy.
Since 2005 I am active in living history fighting as a gladiator and founded in 2006 my own group, the Hamburg-based LVDVS NEMESIS.
