I am an archaeobotanist specialised in the anatomical identification of archaeological wood from Palaeolithic (Europe) and prehispanic archaeological contexts (Canary Islands).

Hi! My name is Stephanie Vesseur, working in living history since 1999. Sustainability, prehistoric plants and experimental archeology are my main interests. I do love to work with wool, hides, and fibres.

Started back in 2010 as a founder member of the Ukrainian living history association Varuforos, which represented the military society of Kyiv in the mid-10th century.

I have a BA in Archaeology from the University of Liverpool and an MSc in Early Prehistory and Human Origins from the University of York.

I am a PhD student at the University of South Florida where I am currently engaging in textiles and dress from a digital archaeology perspective. Tools being utilized include digital photogrammetry and structured light scanning.

I am currently working on my Master's degree in the Classics Program at the University of Kentucky, and I previously attended the University of North Carolina at Asheville. 

I am an experimental archaeologist recently graduated from the University of Exeter, and about to embark on a PhD. I am interested in human-bird relations and the material culture of feathers that have informed and shaped human worlds.

I have a degree in Natural Sciences and I am currently finishing my MSc in Natural System Sciences at the University of Turin.
My researches focus on the microscopic and biomolecular analyses of ancient dental calculus.

As a multifaceted craftsperson I have always been interested in the ''making of" anything really, but more specifically tools, practical objects and decoration. Working with ceramics and incense during my BA ignited more of the interest in experimental archaeology.

My name is Ronja Lau, I studied prehistoric archaeology at the Freie Universität Berlin and since my Bachelor degree I'm dealing with textile archaeology and experiments concerning textile research.
