During the National Archeology Days everyone can participate in the organized activities. An excavation is organized especially for children, where they can search for pottery and Roman coins. You can then take these objects home with you to enjoy the day even more.  

This one day course is a chance to try your hand at the craft of rush weaving in the inspirational setting of St Fagans National Museum of History. Working under the guidance of local craftswoman Clare Revera, you’ll learn the techniques required to make a rush table mat or two (or more if you're quick!).

Dedicated to the Thracians and their ancient and highly developed civilization, the festival "Odryuza - the cradle of a thousand cities" will take us to times that still amaze humanity today.

The International Reenactment Market IRM is the first international fair for living history, re-enactment, and experimental archaeology of all periods in Germany, and was launched in 2011 in the Archaeological Park Roman Villa Borg. The new location for 2022 is the Römerwelt museum at Rheinbrohl, located between Bonn and Koblenz.

A spectacular weekend of re-enactments as invading Saxons clash with resident Romans and Celts to claim victory over the beautiful Butser Ancient Farm. 

For the Romans, bathing was not just mere cleansing and health care. The extensive visit to a Roman bath served both relaxation and well-being. The restored bathing facility in front of the fort gate of the Saalburg and replicas of Roman bathing utensils make Roman bathing culture vivid.
